We built the partner we wanted to have.

Inbound Spain is run by two people who spent their careers on the ground in this industry, first in Cuba, now in Spain, and who understand exactly what a booking represents to the advisor or operator who made it possible.

From Havana to Andalusia.

Rob and Ana Maria Fielding co-own Inbound Cuba, a three-time winner of the World Travel Award for Cuba's Best Tour Operator, founded in 2013 and grown into a company serving more than 500 American travelers a year on deluxe FIT programs. Ana Maria co-founded that business from a background in Cuban hotel operations and years as a Virtuoso travel advisor in Canada. Rob joined as co-owner in 2016, bringing the operator and cruise side of the industry with him: a Managing Director role at Travcoa, where he scaled the Private Journeys portfolio five-fold in three years, and later product development work with Modern Adventure across nine destinations.

They moved to Spain permanently on December 31, 2021, landing on New Year's Day. Ana Maria's family traces back to Lugo, in Galicia, and part of the move was giving their son a real connection to that heritage. Andalusia became home for a simpler reason: neither of them is a city person all the time. They wanted land, farmers, food from the source, the sea within reach, and a rail network that puts nearly all of Spain, plus a four hour drive to Lisbon, within easy range.

Inbound Spain was founded in 2024 around a single purpose: strengthening the trust a guest places in the advisor or tour operator who arranged their trip. That trust holds up because of what happens on the ground, program after program, delivered to a standard the guest notices.

Licensed, insured, and built on a real network.

Facts a partner should have on hand before trusting a client to a new DMC.

Licensed and insured.

Inbound Spain operates as a licensed travel agency (Agencia de Viajes) under Andalusian regional authority and carries full liability insurance. Full registration and licensing detail is documented in the Aviso Legal.

Partners in every region we cover.

The right partner changes by region and by client: a boutique hotel in one city, a family-run B&B in another, a professional transportation company running anything from a deluxe sedan to a full-size coach depending on group size. Guides are licensed subject matter experts, not generalists reading from a script. Building and maintaining that range across all nine regions is the real work behind a program that runs smoothly.

Small by design.

Every program is built from the ground up, whether it is a single client's custom itinerary or a series departure repeated across a season. Groups stay small, typically ten to sixteen travelers, occasionally as many as twenty four for the right partner, because a smaller group moves through a place differently. Days are never compressed into rapid one-night stops. A place needs time to be taken in properly, one traveler or twenty.

Rob and Ana Maria.

Inbound Spain is led by Rob and Ana Maria Fielding, backed by a network of guides, drivers, and local partners across every region the company operates in.

Co-Owner

Rob Fielding

Twenty five years in upscale leisure travel, spanning DMCs, tour operators, cruise lines, and resorts, including a Managing Director role at Travcoa and product development work with Modern Adventure. Rob handles Inbound Spain's technology, sales, and partner relationships across the United States and Canada. His Spanish is deliberately modest, but the willingness to use it anyway tends to open doors with local suppliers that a fluent negotiator might not.

Ana Maria Fielding, Co-Owner of Inbound Spain
Co-Owner

Ana Maria Fielding

Began her career in hotel operations in Cuba, then spent years as a Virtuoso travel advisor in Canada before co-founding Inbound Cuba in 2013 and later Inbound Spain. Ana Maria runs operations, supplier negotiations, and the accounting work required for the business to stay compliant with Spain's tax authorities. She is the one who catches the detail everyone else missed, and the one who holds every partner accountable for what was promised.
