Madrid
Two full nights in the capital open the program, a slower start before the overland arc into Asturias, Cantabria, La Rioja, and the Basque coast.
Day 1 · Private arrival transfer. Evening tapas tasting walk, free otherwise.
Day 2 · A half-day in the capital: the Royal Palace and the Prado or Reina Sofía, partner's choice, with an open afternoon to rest or explore. A gentle first full day after the transatlantic flight.

Asturias
Oviedo anchors three nights of Pre-Romanesque heritage and rural Asturian culture, from Mount Naranco's ninth-century monuments to the Senda del Oso's mountain valleys.
Day 3 · Direct rail to Oviedo, about 3 hours 15 minutes. Arrival transfer, free evening.
Day 4 · Oviedo's Cathedral of San Salvador and the Pre-Romanesque monuments on Mount Naranco, followed by an old town walk.
Day 5 · Senda del Oso, the Teverga Valley, and Bandujo, with an optional walking or cycling extension through Las Xanas Gorge.

Cantabria
Comillas' El Capricho, Gaudí's only building outside Catalonia, and Santillana del Mar's medieval old town anchor a full day of Cantabrian coast and architecture, with a pass through Santander along the way.

Day 7 · El Capricho de Gaudí in Comillas and Santillana del Mar's old town, with a brief Santander waterfront stop en route rather than a full walking tour.

La Rioja
The route turns south through Bilbao, a Guggenheim stop along the way, into Rioja Alavesa's wine country. Day 8 · Private transfer to La Rioja via Bilbao. A full-day leg: a timed Guggenheim Bilbao visit with a local specialist guide, lunch in Bilbao, then on to Rioja Alavesa for the evening. Plan on a later arrival.
Day 9 · A Rioja Alavesa wine morning: Frank Gehry's building at Marqués de Riscal, a walk through one or two small wine villages, and a tasting led by a local expert, with lunch. Open afternoon, with an optional visit to Haro's Barrio de la Estación for those who want more.

The program closes on the Basque coast, with a full day across the border into France before a short transfer to the airport.
Day 10 · Private transfer to San Sebastián, with a stop in Getaria for a txakoli tasting en route. Arrival, free evening.
Day 11 · Market visit and a Basque cooking class. Optional evening pintxos tour of Parte Vieja for those who want to keep going.
Day 12 · French Basque Country day trip: Saint-Jean-de-Luz wine and cheese tasting and Bayonne, with a brief photo stop in Biarritz along the way rather than a full visit, to keep the finale day light.
Day 13 · Tour ends. Private transfer to Bilbao Airport, about 1 hour 15 minutes, for departure flights. Clients needing Madrid connectivity return by direct rail or private transfer, about 5 hours, with a curated lunch stop in Vitoria-Gasteiz or the Rioja on the private-transfer option.
